Millerton Lake Elopement Photos // Kaelyn + Jake

Soooo before we start looking at these super cute Millerton Lake Elopement Photos…. let’s talk about how Kaelyn + Jake came into my life…. lol!! :))))

Jake met my boyfriend (also named Jake lol) as we were finding our souls at the 2018 Coachella Music Festival: where alllll the greatest love stories begin lol!! Immediately friends, they started talking about how he couldn’t waitttt to go home and propose to his girlfriend, Kaelyn. So of couuurseeee MY Jake chimes in and tells them how I need to photograph the proposal (I’ve trained him well lol)!!

We headed to Santa Cruz to “run into them at the bar” and talk about how “disappointed I was that my couple cancelled on me for a beach session… but hey! Did they want a free photo session instead since I was already out there??” 😉

Seeing Kaelyn’s excitement when Jake finally got down on his knee during sunset was literally one of the cutest moments I’ve ever seen!! The rest of the night was filled with lots of laughs and cheers, rollercoaster rides at the beach boardwalk, and yelling “I LOVE JAKE!!” up and down the beach lol! These two are wildly obsessed with eachother (it totally shows!!) and the world is a better (and hotter lol!!) place now that you two are togethaaa + I’m soo so happy I got to be there for your big moment!! xo

But since their proposal was thatttttt fun.. we OBVIOUSLY had to make their engagement photos even BETTER! :))))

We collaborated with the BEST local vendors to create this bohemian elopement styled engagement shoot for them!! :)))) We hiked all the way up the hill (blasting Odesza from my “party backpack” the whole way up lol)! And then we found the PERFECT golden sun spot to cozy up and create some magiiiic!!

Kaelyn + Jake… you two are the sweetest, smiliest, cutest, free-spirited souls!! I’m SO grateful to Coachella for bringing us togethaaa + can’t waitttt to continue supporting your love and watch your pretty fam grow!!
