What’s better than having a beautiful Taft Point Sunset Elopement in Yosemite National Park with your person & sharing intimate vows, champagne, & the creamiest cake ever?! I’ll wait….. ;)) lol!! 

Cheyenne + Matt are the DREAM couple!! They actually grew up on the same street, but didn’t fall in love until MUCH later when reintroduced by a mutual friend! They knew from the very start that they wanted to get married THEIR way & not to worry about what everybody else wants… but rather, to create a special experience for just the two of them (& their closest family members who also tagged along)!

Their special day started off in their cute Yosemite airbnb with no wedding-day stress & they just slowly enjoyed the morning, as family members & makeup artists & their perfect photographer showed up (LOL jk… but really;))). Cheyenne came prepared with gifts for her momma, then had a first look with her man, & then we were offfff up the hill to their Yosemite elopement spot (Taft Point) :)))

Their fam (& sweet pup, Benny) stuck around to share a champagne pop & toast… then Cheyenne + Matt hiked up the hill alone to do the dang thiiiiing (sipping champagne & stealing kisses all the way there)!! The most perfect purple/pink sunset filled the sky as they shared their vows & cuddled together until the sun fully set :))) Then we drove back back to meet their family again for the yummy, well-deserved dinner at the Tenaya Lodge (blasting & singing Taylor Swift’s new album at the top of our lungs… bless Matt for tolerating us lol)!! 

Honestly, I knew from the very start that Cheyenne would be one of my fav brides!! I love how she insisted that we meet up for margaritas before even booking her engagement session, so we could instantly tell if we would be a good fit (spoiler alert: we 100% WERE LOL). Then, she turned her engagement session into an excuse to have a desert camping trip with her family where she let me bring my puppy to play with hers and shared margaritas again lol! 

All of those intentionally crafted experiences leading up to her perfect day in Yosemite ensured that we were ALL friends/family by the time she said “i do” & now here we are a few months later & she’s coming to my birthday weekend in Joshua Tree lol! Literally can’t wait to hangout with you guys again!! THANK YOU for choosing me as your photographer & for getting married in a way that was right for YOU two!! Xoxox
