Choosing your wedding venue is one of the FIRST things that you’ll do after getting engaged (in addition to hiring your photographer), because they book up so far in advance! There’s soo so many options — do you want to get married in the mountains, the beach, desert, a backyard, rooftop, or garden, etc? Think about what vibe you want, what season you want to be married in, and how many people are on your guest list when searching for your venue! Rush Creek Lodge — Yosemite

My all time fav venue!! You can get married in the beautiful & dramatic Yosemite trees.. And then walk right down a little hill to the reception that’s connected to the newly built resort that all of your fam/friends can stay the night in (which is BEST case scenario — because it’s so annoying for guests to figure out transportation back to a hotel after a long wedding night lol)! Rush Creek Lodge is soo so beautiful + super convenient for the guests with lots of activities for them to do all in one place. :)))

Olympic Valley Estate — Petaluma

This venue is centered around the cutest white historical looking house with green grass & a little pond for the ceremony views, beautiful golden grass hills for the most magical California sunsets EVER, and a fun barn for the reception. :))) All 3 of these areas are super close together which is easy for the guests! :)))

Wolf Lakes — Fresno

Wolf Lakes is such a great choice for Fresno locals! It has a garden side + a lake side to choose from (both are beautiful)! They offer rides around the lake on a boat for guests too which is fun. And they also have getting ready rooms for the couple & bridal parties! :)))

San Joaquin River Parkway — Fresno

San Joaquin River Parkway is another solid choice for Fresno locals! :))) It has a big, beautiful, historical looking house, gardens, vineyards, palm trees, golden grass fields, and 2 big barns to choose from for your reception! :))) (but this one does not have “getting ready rooms” — so you’d have to get ready off site & transport everyone to the venue)!

Merryman Station — Exeter

Merryman’s Station is a repurposed train station turned rustic wedding venue! It’s super beautiful with lots of exposed brick & two levels to the reception which is nice if you’re planning on having lots of guests! It’s also located right next to an orange orchard which is super pretty for sunset photos! :)))

Wedgewood Weddings — Carmel

This is def my go-to recommendation if you want a beach wedding! :))) I’m pretty sure they handle all of the permit info & set up/ tear down so that you can get married on the actual beach.. And then you can shuttle everyone to their pretty venue for the reception!
