My sweetest angel Margie’s engagement photos with her fiance, AJ, in the almond orchards. :))) Margie reached out to me back in 2020 & right away… I knew I loveddd her!!! Seriously the kindest most bubbly & perfect soul. She wanted her engagement photos done some place special to her… in her daddy’s almond orchards — which I agreed would be the cutest thing ever! So we scheduled her shoot for the following year as we waited for the spring.

She had also jokingly asked if we could use a few moments of her engagement photos to take a few photos with her family, because their last Christmas card photo literally nobody was looking or smiled (she even sent me the photo!) which I thought was hilarious so we planned for that too. But sadly, Margie’s dad went up to heaven one month before our photoshoot.

All of a sudden, this photoshoot in her dad’s almond orchards had a completely new meaning.

The new spring blossoms had all new meaning.

The sunset had a new meaning.

I love that Margie will always have this very special place to come back to when she misses her sweet dad & will always have these photos to remember the happiness felt in the midst of such an impossibly hard time.
