Snow Shaver Lake Engagement Photos in the Snow

these SWEET ANGEL bbs were sooo soo much fun during their snowy engagement session in Shaver Lake (like I’m serious… fun couples like THIS are the reason I love my job so much)!!

Started off by hopping in their car (cause… let’s be real… I’m physically incapable of driving in the snow without dying hahah), figured out how to put on tire chains together (team work makes the dream work lol) + headed up the freakiiin WINTER WONDERLAND mountain!! Like legit Shaver Lake, CA in February could have been where they filmed the snow scenes in the Narnia movies… it was all a snowflake fluttering dream!!

After safely arriving to the beautiful snow covered lake… they brought out the crown & beers to shotgun for warmth ;)) lol! I know I say this all the time… but if you’re reading this and you’re a drinking fam… I 100000% suggest that you drink a little before your photo sessions (especially if it’s freezing cold)!! It makes everything more fun & relaxed! :))

Popped on some music.. trekked waist deep into the snow… had a couple “can’t-feel-my-fingers-need-to-warm-up-in-the-car breaks”, finished off the cutest little sesh… bonding over tattoos, solar energy, & puppies lol!!

**Also… for the photogs reading this… I tried out India Earl’s “panorama” technique in Lightroom for the first time during this sesh and I’M IN LOVE WITH IT! Basically just stitch together a series of photos to create one EPIC one… rather than having to spend the money buying a wide angel lens!! ;)) Learn how to do it HERE!!

Anyyhooooo.. I can’t freakin wait to photograph your guys almond blossom wedding next week and hangout in your garage listening to Jelly Roll or whatever he’s called and you’re gonna live happily ever after amen lol!! xoxox
