There’s something extra special about sunrise in Yosemite National Park (especially at the Glacier Point viewpoint)!! The way the light hits the granite rock fills your heart with literal child-like wonder + is a million times worth the 2am wake up call lol!! Especially if you’re trying to beat the tourist crowds and have an intimate moment with yourself and your loviiie….

I’d 100% suggest sunrise as the way to go for this view at Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park!!

I alsoooo freakkkin love the fact that “eloping” is becoming more accepted in today’s wedding culture (if I were to get married right now, that’s the way I would do it too… SO much cheaper/ more intimate)!! But the vast majority of people still want the traditional wedding (which is amazinggggg too, don’t get me wrong lol)!

So one way for you to get those epic “elopement styled” photos (while also having the traditional wedding… aka: the best of both worlds!!) is to take them as a sweet little adventurous “first look” days BEFORE your wedding day! That way, you’ll have some pretty photos to print, displayed AT your wedding :))) Or you could do it after the wedding…. If you don’t want him to see your dress yet! Either way…. I just want you guys to know that you CAN have the best of both worlds!! Both a traditional wedding for your family, but also the epic elopement styled photos that you’ve been drooling over :)))  

I’m allll about encouraging you to make your day special & unique to YOUR relationship. Not worrying about the guests or pleasing everyone else…. But really taking the time to sit down and think “if we were to craft our PERFECT day… what would it look like”?

Would we rent out a few cabins in Yosemite National Park & invite a few friends to come drink around a campfire? Or book a trip to Iceland just the two of us and explore the landscapes to remind us of how grand the world really is?? Or run away to Vegas and get married by Elvis & spend the rest of the night dancing through casinos??? Lol (seriously if that’s your plan…. HIRE ME… i’m craving a vegas wedding hahah)!!

Whatever it is for you two… just remember that it’s about you two. Not everyone else.

Please don’t spend your time worrying about what your mother in law wants or wondering if people will ever use the bottle opener party favor (hint: they won’t lol).

What matters is that you two found each other, love each other, & are going to spend the rest of your lives making each other laugh/smile/cry/proud/crazy lol!

It’s you two against the world!
